Student Leadership Council
(Ages 13 and up)
The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a student-led organization that provides opportunities for middle school and high school students to connect with one another and help each other develop into responsible individuals. During the school year, students in SLC will meet on the second Thursday of each month. Using Roberts Rules of Order to conduct their meetings, students will collaborate to plan and implement special events and activities for SCIHE such as teaching an elementary P.E. class and creating the SCIHE yearbook. Members of SLC actively take on one of the many essential roles of the council, such as: president, vice-president, secretary, PE coordinator, assistant PE coordinator, teen time coordinator, table talk, communications, yearbook editor, assistant yearbook editor, photography coordinator, and photography assistant coordinator.
