Our motto is 'Seeking Christ In Home Education.' It is our goal to provide group educational activities for our children as well as support and encouragement for one another. It is our intention for all of our activities to be presented consistently and forthrightly from a Christian perspective. We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible and believe that it is the foundation upon which all education should be based. (II Timothy 3:16, Colossians 2:8, Matthew 6:33). To participate in our activites, you must be a member of SCIHE. Class fees for music program, classes, and any field trip or activity will be separate from the overall SCIHE fee.

Music Program (extra fee):

Music program meets weekly, on Thursdays, thoughout the school year. Strings (violin, viola, cello, and bass) and chimes/handbells accept students grades 3-12. Choir and band accept students grades 4-12. Strings and band students should plan to provide their own instrument. Classes begin in August. For more information please email @scihe.org.

Student Leadership Council:

The Student Leadership Council (SLC), for ages 13 and up, provides opportunities for teens to build responsibility. The SLC creates our yearbook, runs a physical education class for elementary students during second semester, and organizes monthly teen times. @scihe.org.

Other:

Any other class or activity will be advertised through our email distribution list. Details will be included to allow each family to decide what best works for them.
